Friends of the Brolga Membership
The Friends are important to the future of the Brolga. The Group’s primary objectives are to support and encourage use of the available facilities – a major part of this is the provision by the Friends of equipment and enhancements that ensure the Brolga remains more than just an average regional theatre.
There are two options for membership:
- Ordinary membership - annual membership supports the objectives of the Theatre.
- Volunteer working membership - annual membership and volunteer time to work at the Theatre.
You can elect to become a member of either group and take advantage of the benefits available.
Annual Fee: Adult $15.00, Couple $25.00, Concession $10.00, Concession Couple $20.00

Many of our volunteers develop longstanding friendships with their other colleagues.
The Brolga is very privileged to have such a hard working dedicated group of volunteer workers who provide great service to our many and varied customers. The main aim of volunteer working members is to provide excellent customer service and facilitate the enjoyment of patrons at all performances.
Volunteer working members choose to assist in the operation of the theatre in a number of different roles including working as ushers, door-keepers, front-of-house operations and assistance with the liquor and coffee bar.
Volunteers wear a uniform provided by the theatre and undertake training in each of the work areas nominated in operational procedures, as well as Workplace Health and Safety. They are rostered to work on a rotational basis giving all trained members an equal opportunity to assist at events and performances.
The support of our volunteers makes our centre one of the most successful and vibrant regional theatres in Australia
