Queensland Ballet Community Classes
Queensland Ballet Education Teaching Artists are thrilled to be heading to Hervey Bay to offer a range of classes, suitable for all!
Queensland Ballet will be visiting Hervey Bay, through the support of Fraser Coast Regional Council, offering community engagement dance programs. These programs are delivered by Queensland Ballet education and community teaching artists.Queensland Ballet's regional community classes give participants of all ages an opportunity to experience dance. No previous dance experience required.
The classes will take place at Sparks Dance Centre, 15 Driftwood Ct. Urangan, QLD, 4655.
Classes cost $10 per participant and need to be booked through Queenlsand Ballet using the button below.

Classes offered on regional tour include:
QB Petit Pointers (2 - 5 years)
1pm - 1.30pm
Designed to stimulate the imagination, musicality and natural movement in children aged 2 – 5 years. All participants will have a joyous experience with an important carer in their life.
Junior Community Dance Class (6 - 11 years)
1.45pm - 2.45pm
For dancers 6 – 11 years of age, these community classes give participants a taste of all the fun Queensland Ballet has to offer. This is an inclusive experience focusing on exploring ballet technique. No previous dance experience required.
Teen Community Dance Class (12 - 17 years)
2.45pm - 3.45pm
For students 12 - 17 years of age, these community classes give participants a taste of all the fun Queensland Ballet has to offer. This is an inclusive experience focusing on exploring ballet technique. No previous dance experience required.
QB Ballet for Seniors Repertoire Class (older active adults 18 years and over)
4pm - 5pm
This gentle class is especially tailored for adults, with a focus on improving poise, core strength, memory and mobility. No previous dance experience required, and class is open to all adults who would like to experience ballet.
This event is supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund, a partnership between the Queensland Government and Fraser Coast Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
