'Dear Diary' workshop with Shanay Manitzky (18+ years)
Join local artist and art teacher, Shanay Manitzky for a 'Dear Diary' workshop as part of the immersive 'Dear Diary' residency at Gatakers Creative Space.
Shanay will take over the Creative Space with her studio practice, turning every corner of the gallery into an interactive experience. From a 'Photo booth' to a 'Wall of secrets', the residency is an evolving journey into the artistic processes that define Manitzky’s captivating visual tales.
Participants will leave the workshop with their own 'Dear Diary' and have a deeper understanding of visual storytelling and feel inspired to continue expressing themselves through art.
When: Saturday 20 July, 2024
- 09.30am - 11.30am (18+ years)
Where: Upstairs Gatakers Creative Space, 311 Kent Street, Maryborough
Cost: $30 (includes all materials, participants receive their own visual diary to use in the workshop to keep and take home).
Workshop Cancellation Policy
- Gatakers Artspace cannot accept responsibility for any changes in personal circumstances. Missed workshops or change of mind are at your own expense.
- If a participant chooses to cancel their confirmed registration, or cannot or does not attend the workshop, the following will apply:
- The registered participant may invite another person to substitute their place in the workshop (in which they are registered) at any time at no charge;
- If notice is received 2 or less days from the scheduled starting date, a refund will not be offered.
- If a workshop is cancelled by Gatakers Artspace a full refund or a reschedule will be provided. Gatakers Artspace will endeavour to advise participants of cancellation at least 48 hours prior to workshop.
